Bones: a character in the forensic series Bones. name, Temperance Brennan but nickname Bones because her partner, Seeley Booth calls her Bones as she deals with the remains of humans to identify the murderer and the murder itself.

yesterday, 27th December 2007, Bones and I went out to go shopping in search of clothes and accessories and everything in between.
we met up at 11AM at Aljunied station and once we met, we headed for the city. Our first stop was City Hall- Raffles City. We went there, going into shops and looking for something for Simin as it was going to be her birthday and Bones needed to get something for her. So we searched, but we could not find anything that was suitable. Finally, we came across Precious Thots and we looked around and Nic got her this thing that can store other things. It's difficult to explain.
After getting the merchandise, we headed for lunch. We walked to the basement and we passed by The Pizza Place. Bones thought that even though the food there was good it was going to make her fat so we walked over to the Soup Spoon and while doing so we passed by a chinese restaurant and the waitress standing outside asked Nic what she would like to have. Nic declined in a hurry and I said, "she doesn't want anything, she's afraid she'll grow fat." but of course the waitress did not hear.
We walked to the Soup Spoon and Nic asked, "but what are we going to eat here? only soup" and I kindly replied, "duh!" so after telling Nic about all the other wonderful food The Pizza Place has, we decided to eat there.
After lunch, we headed to Plaza Singapura to meet Yiwen, Simin and YingRu. And so we went. We hopped onto the train and headed to Dhoby Gaut. Once we reached, we had to rush to them as they were about to enter the cinema. We did make it, of course, and passed Simin her present. They went into the cinema and we walked around.
We walked into Cotton On but there was nothing there, walked into other un-labelled shops and there was nothing that caught our eye. We walked into Rip Curl. There we looked around. Nic saw this skirt that she liked and there was also this Emily Strange tube dress that was really nice. She went to try them on and I waited outside. While waiting I saw this guy who was with his girlfriend. The girl's chinese and the boy was a mix of chinese(?) and caucasian. I know I shouldn't be saying this but he was HOT! and the girl was not...
ANYWAY! Nic tried the skirt and she let me judge. It was not bad but it was too short and too expensive. Poor gal. She tried the tube dress next. Funny shit. The size was WAY too big. It would just drop off. Maybe if her bust was a C she could wear it. hahaha!
I tried on the tube dress and it BARELY fit. There was of course some loose spots. Either way it was just too much to cost.
We walked out empty handed and we kept talking about the outfits. We then went to Esprit. Great stuff, sucky prices. SUPER ex.
(right Charmaine, telling me there are many sales. crap...)
Went into Marks and Spensers, saw this top that was nice and I tried the black, Nic tried the white. nope, no good. Walked around again and after buying a drink we left the place and walked to Orchard Road.
Went to Centrepoint and there was nothing for us. Walked the entire place. nothing. Walked to The Heeren. Looked into all the shops and again nothing for us. Our feet were killing us and Nic wasn't feeling well so we sat down and discussed how crappy the day was going by.
Nic wanted something to munch on so we left and we came across Old Chang Kee. We bought our food and walked to C.K.Tangs.
Combed through each floor yet NOTHING. Now Nic was starting to get desperate and she really wanted to get something. Her complain was, "so far we only spent on food!!" Again, nothing that we liked and could afford. The sales weren't very pleasing.
Left Tangs and walked to Far East Plaza. There we walked again, saw things but nothing that suited us. When we left the place suddenly, the unthinkable happened. My shoe's sole detached itself. Total f**k! So either we got hold of some super glue or get a new pair of shoes. We walked around and in the end we came to the same shop as we first went into at F.E.P. Bought a pair of shoes for me and Nic was getting depressed because she still hasn't gotten anything for herself.
Left F.E.P for Wisma Atria. At the place we walked around, looked at shops and still nothing to find. I wanted to go to Cotton On but there was nothing there as well. Walked into the shop that was opposite Cotton On and it was Cotton On Body. I bought a cardigan. So... 2 for Booth. Zero for Bones. Now she's really upset.
We walked over to Takashimaya. Walked into stores and still nothing to find. Passed by Mphosis. I wanted to go see what's inside but Nic didn't. However, I dragged her in anyway.
Looking through the clothing FINALLY we saw an outfit that would look nice. We tried it on and we bought it. We bought the exact same one. hahaha! At Mphosis Nic also saw the same type of skirt that she saw at Rip Curl. and it was cheaper and better because it was not as short as the one at R.C. So she bought that too.
After buying our things we wanted to head back to Plaza Singapura to go to Perlini Silver but then... I saw an outlet at Takashimaya. She was happy! We went in and looked at the ear rings. We chose one and I told her to ask for help. She asked me to help her since, I quote, "I look more friendly". Okay, I called the dude and said, "SHE (points at Nic) wants THAT pair" so he took it out and told us about the offer that was available so she got another pair. I told him, "SHE wants that pair and that pair. and SHE'S paying :D" He said, "okay(:"
At the cashier, she paid for the item and when she got back her change she dropped the coins and as the coin fell she shrieked. We laughed and so did the dude at the cashier so I mockingly pointed at Nic and how clumsy she is suddenly ALL her money fell out of her hand and we laughed even harder and the poor cashier boy had to help us again. It must have been the most memoriable night for the boys.
Once she bought her ear rings, we left Taka and we headed for home. And that was the end of our shopping day. We started at 1.30PM and ended at 8.15PM.
Bones' total shopping cost $106.10 and she got 1 top, 1 skirt and 2 ear rings.
Booth's total shopping cost $74.45 and she got 1 top, 1 pair of shoes and 1 cardigan.
