Trials and Temptations

GB 2nd coy is Geylang Methodist School (secondary).

I've heard from my contingent that after the format drill competition, they found some blogs.
and they think that the contents of one of the posts are very inappropriate.

but i'm not here to judge.

We know that we were not able to perform like how our seniors used to in the past when they won GOLD and challenge sheild. That's because we are the next generation and so there will obviously be some difference in the past and the present.
It's not like they maintained any similarities to their seniors. There must have been some difference in the standard.

like i said, i'm not here to judge.

we might have not done to our extreme expectations, HOWEVER, we did try our best. So it's not counted by us as a screw up because...
we know that we've already won. We don't mind not being able to get gold neither the challenge sheild because we have won something much more important than a coated plate and an ingraved crest. And that's the heart and the experience that we've obtained from working together in the contingent.

we would not be deterred by all these remarks of jealousy and avariciousness.
why you might ask?

well, very simple. The words might deceive the eyes but the lips deceive the heart.
so even if we read it, we might feel hurt in the beginning HOWEVER, in the end, the person who said it out will feel the pinch of reality when they realise what they said actually is helping us.

We don't have to prove to them anything because we know that all the words spoken are propaganda and here's a bible verse for my 2nd COY GIRLS

I will make you into a great nation
and i will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.
(genesis 12:2-3)

amen?!
so we just have to live up to the expectations of the Lord and that's more than enough.
