Format Drill Competition

today, was the format drill.
format drill is the drill that every single company has to do. (standardized)

we reached the place an hour early! but the time seemed to have gone like the wind.
we all had to tie our hair into a scorpion and the amount of hair gel and hair spray was amazing.
sorry to all the scientists that are trying really hard to help the earth, but we had to contirbute to the CFC poisoning to the earth's surface today.

and we mean A LOT!

sorry.

BUT!
who cares because our drill was AMAZING!
and i'm not saying this out of biasness.

when i saw the 4th Company do their drill, every movement they made was flawless and perfect. almost machine-like and with every move they made my heart just sank lower and lower and in the end it just dropped out and they stepped on it, took the mash and spread it on bread for their breakfast!

i almost lost hope in my contingent.

when it was their turn, i thought they didn't stand a chance.
in the beginning, when they had to march to the starting point, half the contingent stopped then the other half continued marching!! OMG!

all the juniors and me, gasped in horror!

but they regained composure and continued.
WAY TO GO ZARRAPHINA! even with a sore throat, she was able to give perfect commands!

tanda penanda, was great! everyone's rank banged together, heads tilted together and when their heads had to face the front one by one... my Lord! that was the best part!
everyone's head turned with a jerk, it was flawless (no gaps in between), all their hairs flicked so hard like the tail of horses!!

it was beautiful!

their bangings were solid. single beautiful bangs.
turnings were marvellous.
dresssing was absolutely marvellous. there were moments that it looked like only 3 or 6 people were marching!
arm-swings were united.
the look of determination was piercing.
the feeling of confidence in the contingent was amazing!

everything was like a dream.
they might have made some mistakes like anticipating the commands but other than that, they were great.

ALL RIGHT GIRLS! WE'VE COME THIS FAR! DON'T GIVE UP! THE CHALLENGE SHIELD IS JUST A STONE'S THROW AWAY.

girls, i know that you guys did miraculously well today and i'm very proud of ya'll that it brought tears to my eyes (literally) and let's continue doing this great for creative drill. The Lord has brought us through this format drill and He will bring us through the creative drill too. Because, if the Lord has brought us to it, He will bring us through it!
don't be over-confident girls, remain humble and let the Lord do His mighty works in us. so we can't be over-confident and start bragging bout ourselves. The Lord loves his humble servants and His humble children will be made proud with His glory!

i'll upload the video that my junior took with her phone once she uploads it and sends it to me.

oh by the way.
on the way back to school, when we were leaving the place. Joan and I were being really weird and started waving to this army dude who was running but he didn't look at our direction so were like pissed at him. HAHA.

then at the exit gate, there were 2 army guys stationed and one of them was carring a rifle (it's real. DUH) then i told Joan to wave at them instead so the two of us were waving frantically at them.
the dude with the rifle saw us and started waving back! lol.

he waved and smile (cum laugh). His friend thought he went insane for a moment, gave his friend a weird look then realised he was waving at us then he thought that WE were the crazy ones and stared at his friend again who was still waving!
and our bus driver was either being really nice (or he was forced to do so) he stopped when Joan and I were waving at the dude.

(the dude isn't that bad looking. lol)

Sheila and I were kinda shocked afterwards. We thought that the dude wasn't supposed to move!! HAHA.

and our trainer was talking to us so when she saw us waving like that.. the entire bus went, "walao! Xiuping, Joan! Looking at guys only right!"
HAHA. super funny.. :D
