Sec 3 camp!!!
this will be the longest post to date.
sec 3 camp was damn fun!
First Day
our camp was at MOE Changi Camp Site.
it's somewhere near Safra/the airport.
every few minutes you can see and hear the carrier planes/cargo planes flying past.
very fun to see it be so close to land. it's huge!
my class's first activity was roller blading.
knowing how to roller blade, it's really boring to do the same things over and over again.
so the instructor was so nice, he taught me how to 'T-break'.
haha, he asked me, "do you know how to T-break?"
i answered, "Tea break? of course! drink tea and eat scones lo"
then he gave me the -.- face.
anyway, he taught me that.
then it was lunch time!
the food was okay. we had to bring our own cutleries.
cuz it's like boot camp. they just serve you the food on the plates.
after lunch, it was time for the second activity of the day.
and it was... ROCK CLIMBING!
damn fun.
but very tiring too.
i talked so much smack to Grace, Rachel and Charmaine then when it was my turn, i kept on slipping at the bottom cuz my track pants were covering my shoes and i was stepping on the wrong stones for me.
after i got the momentum, i managed to climb all the way.
then i was just ONE step away from the ultimate top, then i ALMOST slipped but luckily i managed to grab hold of it and reach the top!
WOOHOO! me and Grace were the only ones out of the four of us who managed it all the way to the top.
so tiring, when i came back down, my hands were trembling so badly and i couldn't even fully open my palms.
it was fun though!
next was Kayaking!
we had to partner with a guy (for equal weight and power distribution)
my partner was Kai Jin. it was so funny having him as a partner
cuz the two of us already knew how to kayak so we just paddled, and Kai Jin being very strong and everything was paddling so hard the kayak moved at a really top speed i thought it turned into a speed boat for a second.
the two of us made fun of the instructor (between the two of us)
the instructor's a guy and he just wears the life jacket no shirt and when he showed us how to hold the paddle properly he exposed all his... ARMPIT HAIR!
we were laughing so hard cuz i said to Kai Jin i felt like plucking all of them out!
the instructor saw my actions and he asked, "why you wanna pull my armpit hair?" then me and Kai Jin laughed til my cows came home.
everytime we saw him we'll whisper to eat other "armpit man!"
in the water, we had a challenge to stand on the kayak.
i always was the steady one to stand first. (thank you thank you)
(i sat at the front)
then the back row had to stand too.
so everyone stood.
suddenly something happened.
someone fell and dragged everyone along.
some made it some didn't.
me and Kai Jin were one of the "didn't."
we capsized.
Kai Jin was so "manly" (dunno how to describe)
he held the kayak for me while i climbed in then he swam over to Chiu Wen and Daryl's kayak and helped them get on. so nice right.
then he swam back to climb in.
so fun!
the entire class worked together (in the water) to get people back into their kayaks.
never seen my class like that before.
at night we had our night walk.
played the Blind Man's Trail. so stupid that game.
and walked into the forest for the night trail.
they told us lame ghost stories and situated people at places to scare us.
Second Day
had breakfast, devotion then got ready for the first activity.
we had abseiling and zip line (flying fox)
did the abseiling, at first i was kinda scared to be at the top cuz you're really high and you have to trust yourself that your hands won't betray you and let you fall to your death but as i was going down, my fears slowly left.
didn't have time to do the zip line cuz everything was going so slowly.
dang!
never mind though.
we then had rafting.
we had to make the rafts out of PVC pipes and empty barrels.
took a LONG time to get the rafts done that it ate into our lunch time.
in the end we only had 10mins to eat and bathe and get ready for the next activity.
but we dragged however, we still had enough time to finish the next activity.
next activity was CRC.
Challenge Rope Course.
DAMN FUN!
did the wild-woozie with Ariel. Made it all the way to the end.
wild-woozie is the on which is a fine rope above ground (WAY above ground) and it's from one side to the other and it's from close getting further and further away and you need to hold on to your friend for balance and support so that the 2 of you won't fall.

made it all the way to the end, so happy!
kinda scary cuz i was always looking down.
i did the rope suspension and the log suspension.
it's when you have to walk (by yourself) from one side to another on the rope and log.
so fun! RAN ACROSS.
also did the bar thingy.
you just from the high small surfaced vertical log and jump trying to catch the bar and hang there.
didn't make it unfortunately.
was too short.
next was SURVIVAL COOKING!
very funny the instructors.
"welcome to the Adi and Faizal's outdoor cooking show!"
we made the food. it was really nice
however during the process, the guys ate all the oranges and there weren't any left for the actual food.
LOL.
after cooking, time to eat... DINNER!
it was okay the food. got to eat satay.
stupid Mrs Lau kept on complaining bout the food we had.
"you all very lucky already still got to have satay and fish for camp food now still want supper"
crazy ass! (donkey)
no wonder her husband died faster.
at night we had camp fire.
not really a fire, only light sticks.
so it was camp light.
after the lame camp fire was finish, we had time to bathe (for an hour)!
then assembled back for supper and prize presentation.
my class won the sweetest class award. (i think)
wasn't very clear on why we won actually.
cuz Mr Lee said that my class (Faith 3-4) was so sweet that we even gave him a loving hug.
(the hug came from me lo!)
HAHA.
we were able to sleep at 1am that night (last night)
so Charmaine, Grace and i wondered around for awhile.
then they wanted to go to sleep. so i walked for myself for awhile then met Elden sitting alone. so went to accompany him.
he's very nice, Toby also came by. The 3 of us sat there talking bout various stuff.
saw a lot of stars! was so pretty.
you don't get to see those in the city okay!
Last Day
had breakfast duty.
didn't do the serving but did the cleaning after everything.
was kinda sad to know that we (as a class) had to leave for home.
we had a feedback time.
Faizal suggested that the entire class sleep together (guys and girls)
then Joseph said "later the next morning you see there's a baby in the class!"
LOL.
but i think the guys won't do that la. they'll be decent enough to know that they can't do that. at most they'll just play pranks on the girls like squeeze toothpaste on their fingers while their sleeping then tickle them, or steal their clothes.
(or maybe the girls would be doing that instead. hmmm)
anyways,
it was really fun going through the camp with the class.
got to know other people whom i'm not close with better like Ee Leng, Max, Daniel, Daryl, Kai Jin, Melody, Lidia.
got to know Char-char, Rachel and Grace even better.
oh, Daniel was so poor thing.
he got himself a new pair of spects cuz he broke his old one due to basketball violence.
now he lost his 2day old spects in the sea during rafting.
but i swear i didn't see him wearing spects when he was paddling the raft. he was so sad. :(
he kept on squinting and everything so i lent him my spects. he said he saw things very clearly!
HAHA.
i'm a life saver!
God blessed my spects with the seeing power so that the degree would fit Daniel's degree.
HAHA. (:
NOW,
i lost my voice as in seriously.
first day, before i went to school i fell sick, vomited.
then cheering for friends and everything multiplying, i lost my voice.
now i can barely talk.
after camp ended, went to Hans with Charmaine for lunch.
sat there for 3 hours
talked to her was so difficult, had to write on paper.
or whispered to her.
slowly it got better.
now i'm not talking, it's reduced to nothing.
my throat itches and it hurts.
when i drink or swallow anything it kills!
don't think i'm going to school tomorrow.
better go see a doctor.
having a fever now too.

OH! forgot to tell you,
during the water activities like Kayaking and Rafting, i noticed that "M" looks really hot with all the water dripping down from the hair and everywhere else and the sun shining on the hair (which is wet) and the body... *melts*
but at least i had fun even if i'm speechless.
