The Last Goodbye
One day there will be a moment when you have to completely let go. Whether it's to leave your security blanket for your childhood, or to leave partying to your adolescence, there's always something you have to put in the past.
Eventually, either by choice or by force it will happen.
It will be hard, scary, and down right frightening but once it's happened you realize that it was the security of having it, the comfort of knowing that it's there, the peace and calm of being able to depend on it.
This doesn't mean that you don't remember having it. Of course you will. You will always remember the feelings it brought you & the memories it gave you but as times goes by, you won't be so dependent on it anymore & you will stand on your own. It'll be tough, but you have to pull through & at the end, you'll be proud of yourself.
You can't make yourself go through the pain every time of running back to what you used to know. We all know that the future is a frightening thing & you can never tell what is going to happen to you next but that's what life is all about. The risks & adventures of going through it all.
Do you tell yourself "I deserve so much better than this"? Well, let me tell you that you do. For most of you anyways. When you tell yourself that, don't you really believe it? Then why when the chance comes, you shy away & refuse to accept it? Why deny yourself of the one thing you believe.
Stop torturing yourself. Take a chance, take a risk, take that step of faith.
You never know, maybe God has been hearing your cries & your wonders & he's given you that blessing of something better but you just need to take that one extra step.
100% God, 100% Man.
You deserve so much better & one day your past comforts will come back but you'll be able to not rely on it.
