Saturday, 2 September 2006 was a wonderful day
7.08PM
early in the morning, polished my GB boots cuz i forgot to do them last night. left the house at 8AM. reached school @ 8.30AM!
was late obviously. but was late enough to report to the ma'am so it's oki.
first meeting that everybody's on their new squads. my first time being in squad 5. :( used to be in squad 7 know!!
anyways, after roll call was games. so my squad joined some other squad and played captains ball. damn funny man! everybody screaming and shouting and faul-ing people for no reason. darn hillarious!
@ about 9.50AM, i went to the canteen to look at the other squads playing board games.
went up to Lycia and Joan they were playing chinese chess. Joan didn't know how to play so i helped her out. the game started at 9.55AM and ended at 10.10AM.
at 10.10AM, the game ended because.. I WON! I WON!
if you're not surprised, this will definately make you surprised.
1. this is the first time i won in chinese chess
2. i'm not a pure chinese
3. i don't understand a single word on the chess piece
4. it's been a long time since i played chinese chess. (& always end up losing)
so i was really happy when i won. my "cousin" Qiu Ting, witnessed the whole win and i was so thrilled that i literally jumped off my seat and ran around the whole canteen then ended back at my seat and dropped to the ground.

fast forward to the end of GB.
got back in time from lunch to change into uniform for drill test.
got my tie right at the 2nd try.
managed to change in less than 5 mins!
and.. I PASSED MY DRILL TEST!!!!
so elated!
so that means i passed both theory and practical!!
darn elated!

fast forward..
after they announced who passed, we asked the ma'ams to give the results to who got selected for drill competition next year. they said, "if yoou want to know, you have to stay back first. because, we have other companies to evaluate."
so, me and some girls stayed back.
we stayed until 4++.
the results finally came @ 4.40PM
that was after another short re-test.
anyways..
@ 4.40PM, the ma'ams gave the results in random order.
for the sec 2s there were 11 out of 13 people who got through!
my "cousin" and i were so nervous that we held each other's hand, arm, shoulder so tightly!
Grace, one of the ma'ams, was saying out the names and it was down to the last three. whoa! felt like Miss Universe! hahax! she said one of them and my "cousin" and i went to each other, "we are so not going to be in it."
Grace then said, "it's down to the last two. who will it be?" then she stood up and was about to walk away when she suddenly turned around and said, "the last two are the two who are holding each other until very tight!"
Qiu Ting & i then looked up. looked around and then screamed!!!
it was us! we got into the drill competition!!

oh.. i would like to apologies to my readers that i always like to fast forward everything. it's not that i don't want you guys to know what happened in between those times, its just that nothing really happened during that time so i don't wanna put u guys to sleep |big smiles|
